About SAMU Wines

A love of food, wine, travel and the need to create eventually led us to starting SAMU. After travelling through Europe and experiencing the flavours and culture we fell in love with Italian variety wines.

Each grape variety comes from a small parcel of fruit, specifically selected for optimum growing potential with the warm South Australian climate and can be grown more sustainably than other varieties.

Our goal is to create enjoyable fruit driven wines to reflect our love of food and culture and we make wine in the way we feel is right for the grapes and season. Our grapes are hand-picked and we use a mix of traditional methods like hand plunging, open fermentation and play around with wild yeasts and use old seasoned french oak.

SAMU Wines is a family owned and operated business in South Australia and we hope you love our wines as much as we do!
